Metabarons Genesis: Castaka by Alexandro Jodorowsky & Das Pastoras
This story hits most of the Heavy Metal high notes - post-apocalyptic setting (check), woman depicted topless for no good reason (check) and a twist ending (check). After several pages of the fortune teller trying to convince the man about his destiny, it turns out that both teller and prospective mark are both robots, attempting to identify human survivors on a world that’s been mostly depopulated.

Another beautiful page from Fernandez, with some Art Nouveau noodling in the upper left corner that carries over into the first “panel.” The best part of this feature is how the art style changes from panel to panel, which distracts the reader’s attention from the fact that the story just really isn’t very good.
